Nick Rhodes Staff Director of John Swire & Sons (HK) Ltd. Nick Rhodes graduated from Oxford University in 1980 and joined the Swire group as a management trainee in the same year. He was posted to Cathay Pacific in October 1981 as Assistant to the Manager Philippines. He subsequently moved to Europe, the Middle East, India and Japan, where he was Marketing & Sales Manager for Cathay Pacific for four years. Mr. Rhodes took up the post of General Manager Public Affairs for the Swire group in 1993 before moving back to Cathay Pacific as General Manager Airline Services in 1996, responsible for the airline’s move from Kai Tak to Chek Lap Kok. From 1998 to 2010, he worked in the Flight Operations Department, responsible for flight crew HR & IR, taking up the role of Director Flight Operations in 2003. In 2010, Mr. Rhodes became Director Cargo, overseeing all aspects of the Cathay Pacific Group’s cargo business worldwide. He was appointed Director People, Cathay Pacific Airways in September 2013 and was responsible for all human resources issues at Cathay Pacific. In August of 2015, Mr. Rhodes became the Staff Director of John Swire & Sons, Hong Kong responsible for executive HR at the Swire Group and all aspects of the Group’s management trainee scheme.

Zoe Henham Chair, TWF's HR Advisory Council; TWF Board member at TWF Zoe Henham is a global human resources (HR) leader with more than 20 years of experience in strategic and operational HR. She began her career at Arthur Andersen qualifying as a chartered accountant. In 1998, Zoe moved into HR working at Schroders and Lazard whilst also obtaining her CIPD. Zoe relocated to Hong Kong to join CLSA's HR team in 2004, where she was instrumental in developing CLSA's strategic human capital initiatives and operations during her 12-year tenure. As CLSA's global head of human resources she led a team of 28 based in 7 countries, covering a headcount of 1,900 across 23 cities globally. Since 2009, Zoe has actively participated in and supported TWF initiatives at both the grassroots and corporate level. She has been a Steering Committee Member for the T.E.E.N Programme, a Mentor on the Mentoring Programme for Women Leaders, Co-Chair of the HR Alumni Group and inaugural Chair of TWF's Human Resources Advisory Council. She was appointed to the TWF Board of Governors in early 2016.

She has also been instrumental in JLL’s expansion of valuation services in China and continues her responsibilities for marketing and people development for the business line for the past 6 years. Beginning her career as a financial analyst and then switching to business development, she now has 16 years’ experience in providing financial valuation as well as real estate valuation and advisory services to more than 200 corporates and funds. She leads a CSR initiative for JLL cultivating entrepreneurship within band 4 and 5 schools students in Hong Kong and is a committee member for Sowers Action focused on orphanage provision in China. Last year, she became a participating Mentor with The Women’s Foundation Mentoring Programme. Wendy obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Hong Kong and Bachelor of Laws at the University of London. She is a Certificated Public Accountant (HKICPA).

Tara has more than 15 years’ experience working in Asia, covering top economic and political stories as a foreign correspondent for Reuters. In her 22 years as journalist, she has reported on hundreds of the world’s most important and high profile news stories including Russia’s financial crisis, Myanmar’s emergence from virtual isolation, China's rise on the world stage and the Beijing Olympics to name a few. As a TV reporter and presenter, she has interviewed Fortune 500 CEO’s and government officials across the globe. Earlier in her career, Tara was the editor and main presenter of Reuters Financial Television based in London, and covered emerging markets and G7 economic issues. Tara is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Journalism, and Smith College in the United States. She has twice served as President of the Hong Kong Foreign Correspondents’ Club in Hong Kong, one of the world’s largest press clubs.
