Event Details
This year, AmCham HK went on a Doorknock to Washington DC on July 8-11. Chairman Geoff Siebengartner led a team consisting of President Eden Woon, Vice Chairman David Butts, board members George Chen and Sally Peng, Law Committee Chairman Nick Turner, former Chairmen Walter Dias, Robert Grieves, and Jon Zinke, as well as Chamber staff Queenie Tsui.
They were part of AmChams of Asia Pacific Doorknock delegation but also had separate meetings where specific discussions on Hong Kong issues and our members' concerns took place. Meetings were held with think tank experts, State and Commerce and National Security Council officials, and members of Congress.
The AmCham Doorknock team will be at the HUB on the afternoon of Monday, August 12 to debrief Chamber members on what the team learned and accomplished on the trip.
