Ernest Lin is the General Manager of Kyndryl Hong Kong, overseeing the company’s growth in Asia’s world city. Ernest is a recognized IT and business leader who brings over 20 years’ service experiences of industry applications and managed infrastructure. Catherine Cheung PhD is Associate Professor and Associate Dean at School of Hotel and Tourism Management of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a specialist in the study of Hotel Management. She oversees quality assurance within the school and the school’s efforts on internationalization. She is the Program Leader of the Master of Science (MSc) in Global Hospitality Business. Catherine holds a BA and MA degrees from Macquarie University in Australia and a PhD in research from the University of Strathclyde. She is a Certified Hospitality Educator awarded by the American Hotel and Lodging Association Educational Institute, and a Trainer for Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA). Catherine Cheung research interests are in the area of Hospitality Human Resources Management, Hospitality and Tourism Education, Service Quality and Revenue Management. She has authored and co-authored over 70 research papers and supervised over 12 Doctoral students to completion. She has been involved in consultancy projects for hotels, airlines, clubs and hospital in the areas of service quality and human resources management in Asia. She has numerous years of working experience in opening hotels in Hong Kong, Australia and Taipei.
Neville works in the Corporate Affairs Department of The Hong Kong Jockey Club. Outside of his work, he is a keen public affairs enthusiast and writes frequently for newspapers in Hong Kong. He is an AmCham Future Leader 2022 and a member of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers initiative.
Zeckson is the Digital Workplaces Services leader in Kyndryl Hong Kong, overseeing the practice’s services delivery. He brings over 25 years’ experience in the IT industry and is a seasoned IT Delivery Manager with solid experience in the information technology, telecommunications, aerospace manufacturing and services industries as well as in government sectors.
Truddy heads up Consulting, North Asia, at JLL. She is a subject matter expert in Workplace Strategy and Change Management focused in workplace transformation efforts for corporate occupiers. She connects workplace strategy with design and apply organizational change management expertise to develop workplace solutions aligning business goals and optimizing employee performance. She pays attention in identifying opportunities to foster company culture, desirable employee experience, effective spatial requirements to achieve high performing workspaces for dynamic organisations.
Alice is a seasoned international executive with over three decades of experience in driving customer satisfaction, sales and revenue growth for technology firms in Hong Kong and USA.
As Country Managing Director for Hong Kong, the international headquarters for Telstra, Alice leads a team of several hundred to deliver against Telstra’s corporate strategy. This includes engagement with industry associations, government stakeholders, and non-profit organisations to promote Telstra’s corporate values. She is also committed to creating a strong and vibrant workplace culture for women in technology to thrive.
In her concurrent role as Head of Key Accounts, Alice leads a sales team in driving customer satisfaction and growth across Telstra’s largest enterprise customers in Hong Kong, spanning sectors including finance, logistics, retail, manufacturing and professional services.
Prior to joining Telstra, Alice was the Country Manager for Hong Kong and Taiwan at Akamai, a leading content delivery network service provider from the United States. She planned and executed a new channel strategy to drive growth in these markets.
Alice started her telecommunications career with BT Hong Kong in 1992, when the company was starting to roll out its global network for the enterprise market. She then moved to New York to be the Global Account Director for one of BT’s three global accounts in the United States, where she managed a virtual team across the globe. She subsequently moved back to Hong Kong to manage the Greater China region for BT, taking on a similar role after joining Pacnet Hong Kong which Telstra acquired in 2015.
Alice is an advocate in encouraging woman to join technology sector. She is a committee member of Woman In Business under Australia Chamber of Commerce.
Alice holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. Married with a grown-up son, she enjoys reading mystery novels and photography with her Sony alpha camera in her free time, as well as kick-starting the day with morning exercise.
Ruby has extensive experience working with youth and university students. She is currently the Head of Career Center in the Dean of Students Office at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. At HKUST Career Center, she leads a team of 20 career professionals in providing world-class career services and support more than 15,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students across multiple academic disciplines. She oversees graduate recruitment, the bi-annual job fairs, graduate employment survey, career advising programs, and career development programs. She also coaches many HKUST students on their graduate school applications and administers various internship schemes and programs. In previous roles at HKUST, she was involved with the MBA program, and taught career related courses to undergraduates and postgraduates from all disciplines.
