Join us for an exciting on-site visit to the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (HACTL) on Wednesday, July 5th from 14:30 to 17:30. This unique event will provide members with an excellent opportunity to learn about the air freight industry and its latest developments.
Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has been the world's busiest international cargo airport since 1996. In 2022, HKIA handled 4.2 million tonnes of total cargo throughput. HKIA's competitive advantages as an air cargo hub includes the world's freest economy, geographical advantage, excellent connectivity, state-of-the-art facilities, sufficient cargo handling capacity, and efficient cargo handling & security.
During the airport visit, Airport Authority will introduce you to the future development of HKIA as well as Airport City development; and to exchange views. It will cover the following topics:
