Event Details
Open Lab is an initiative of the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) and is a bridge that seeks to connect industry with a set of mature technological innovations that may just reshape global value chains. This is your chance to visit Open Lab before it opens to the public in September.
What is Hong Kong's role in global circularity? To what extent might home grown technologies reshape the global value chain for the apparel and textile industry? And how does one create a farm-to-garment supply chain that occupies less than 100m of space?
Participants are asked to come prepared with questions: be it on how recycled materials might change their approach to design or even how approaches to circularity developed for the apparel industry might transfer to other product verticals. Open Lab is a shared vision to create a physical space and a digital platform for industry partners to come together. Edwin and the Open Lab may just have answers.
Please register early as space will be limited.
One-way transportation is arranged for guests. The pick-up point will be Central Post Office 2 Connaught Place, Central.
