Moving Beyond the Silos: Realizing the Greater Bay Area Aspirations

Connectivity is one of the critical aspects of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) initiative. The "one-hour living circle" within the GBA has been realized when the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (XRL) came to service. The XRL, which also connects to the wider China transport network covering 14 cities, will bring closer commercial linkages between Hong Kong, the Pearl River Delta region and the rest of China.
This increased connectivity, together with world-class logistics and transport networks will facilitate greater integration across the GBA. The region's clustering of talents, capital and an innovation hub will continue to be China's economic powerhouse and spur immense opportunities for foreign businesses.
Join AmCham HK's Greater Bay Area Delegation Series to Guangzhou and Foshan, as we continue the journey in exploring the rise of China's world-class city cluster.
