Mr. Charles Cao previously served as a senior manager in the International Department of the China Foreign Trade Center, holding this position from July 2001 to November 2010. During this period, he was primarily responsible for planning the global promotion program for the Canton Fair, and oversaw work with international VIP clients.

From December 2010 to October 2022, he served as the assistant general manager of the Canton Fair's Hong Kong Representative Office, assisting the general manager in carrying out the office's related work and providing support for the smooth operation of the office.

Since November 2022, Mr. Charles Cao has taken on the role of permanent representative of the Canton Fair Hong Kong Representative Office. As the permanent representative, he is mainly responsible for the daily business development and operations of the office, as well as the promotion and marketing of the Canton Fair platform in the Asia-Pacific region, providing comprehensive and thoughtful services for buyers.

Leveraging his rich experience and professional knowledge, Mr. Charles Cao is dedicated to facilitating better trade cooperation between Hong Kong and mainland suppliers, and promoting international economic and trade exchanges. His work experience at the Canton Fair has given him an in-depth understanding of the fair's operations and recruitment work, and he possesses excellent organizational and communication skills.
