Join us for this special concert in the Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. The programme under the baton of Austrian conductor Christoph Koncz opens with Shostakovich's Festive Overture. The world-renown French cellist Gautier Capuรงon takes centre stage for Dmitri Shostakovich's First Cello Concerto. Renowned for its demanding main cadenza written for the legendary Mstislav Rostropovich, this concerto is considered a pinnacle of the 20th-century cello repertoire. The concert concludes with three vibrant orchestral pieces by Ravel, including the famous "Bolรฉro".
