This year the AmCham WOI Committee annual conference will include #HeforShe in 2015. Through this panel discussion, we will begin to spark a conversation on the role of male champions of change when it comes to gender inclusion in Hong Kong.
The conversation around representation of women in senior leadership positions has increasingly expanded to include engaging men in this conversation. It is seen that without engaging men in this conversation, gender inclusion initiatives ultimately remain marginalized and segmented. Through the creation of the #HeforShe campaign a platform has been created from which to begin to spark boarder conversations, which recognize that gender inclusion is not just a women's issue but rather a global issue.

#HeforShe has created platforms by which individuals, heads of state, academic institutions and corporate entities can pledge their commitment to the #HeforShe campaign.
