Event Details
As COVID-19 cases subside in China and policy tone increasingly shifts to become more accommodative for growth, a rebound in economic activity seems likely. Still, challenges remain with property market woes and an unclear pandemic exit path. David Chao and Helen Qiao discuss the outlook for Chinese growth, monetary and fiscal policy trajectory, pandemic response and regulatory measures. This will be followed by a fireside chat and audience Q&A.
Some of the questions we seek to answer are:
- Have we seen a bottoming of economic activity and credit impulse in China? What is the expected GDP growth for this year?
- Can we expect further monetary and fiscal policy stimulus?
- Will China's infrastructure stimulus benefit the wider APAC region?
- Do you think China's Zero-COVID pandemic policy will evolve?
- Have we seen a bottoming of the property sector?
