Clare Allum Tax Talent Leader, Asia-Pacific at EY Clare Allum is the Asia-Pacific Tax Talent Leader. She has been based in EY Hong Kong since 2006 after four years as the EY Global Tax Learning Leader. In her current role, Clare sits on the Asia-Pacific Tax Operating Committee, the leadership team for APAC Tax, driving the talent agenda for the Tax practice of over 6,000 people. Her current focus is on developing leaders, workforce management including succession planning, developing skills for the future and driving engagement across the Area. She also focuses on the development of talent through 1:1 coaching and facilitation. Clare has over twenty years of experience in talent in professional services firms in Eastern Europe, EMEIA, Global and Asia-Pacific. She started her professional services career in Learning and Recruiting in Prague after several years teaching. Clare has two children. She loves outdoor activities – hiking and skiing - as well as going to gym classes, reading, photography and travel.

Sanjeev Chatrath Managing Director, Region Head, Asia, Financial & Risk of Thomson Reuters Sanjeev Chatrath is the Region Head and Managing Director of Financial & Risk, Thomson Reuters – covering Asia Pacific and Japan. He is responsible for client business in the region encompassing end to end client experience, account management, market development, Go to Market regional strategy, sales, operations, and technical functions. Sanjeev is a member of the Global Operating Committee for Thomson Reuters, and F&R. Sanjeev has worked in Asian financial markets for over 21 years in leadership roles encompassing business management, client management and sales, spanning Asia Pacific, South Asia and Middle East. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Sanjeev worked with Citigroup where he was Chief Operating Officer and Region Head of Client Sales Management for the Treasury and Trade solutions business. Before joining Citi, Sanjeev held senior management positions with ABN Amro Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank based in Singapore, UAE and India. Sanjeev is a member of the Board of Governors of American Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong, Board Member of ASIFMA (Asia Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association), co-chair of the Male Allies in Hong Kong, and a member of 30% Club supporting gender diversity in Hong Kong boards.

Jo Hayes Director, Pipeline Initiatives of The Women's Foundation After twenty years working in the education sector and developing digital products for language learners, Jo has now focused her career on championing gender equality and advancing women leaders as Director of Pipeline Initiatives at The Women’s Foundation. The Women’s Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong. Jo overseas the programmes, partnerships and other initiatives that support the development of the pipeline of female talent in Hong Kong for executive and non-executive roles. Prior to working at The Women’s Foundation, Jo worked for BBC Worldwide and the British Council. At BBCW as Head of Audio Visual Production, ELT she oversaw all educational media creation for BBC English in Asia. As Editorial Manager for the British Council, she managed their widest reaching global digital product for children learning English, the LearnEnglish Kids website. In addition to working at The Women’s Foundation, Jo is highly committed to Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and advancing future leaders through mentoring on programmes such as the University of Birmingham Alumni Mentoring Programme and the Cherie Blair Mentoring Programme for Women in Business. Jo’s recent and controversial TEDx talk, “How to be a modern day feminist: should we lean in, opt out, stand up or bend over?” looks at whether talking about feminism gets in the way of achieving gender equality. Jo points out that as The World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap Report, indicates that global gender equality won’t be achieved until 2186, we clearly need to step up our game but asks the question, how do we get everyone on board?

Kristine Rea Managing Consultant, YSC APAC at YSC Consulting Kristine is registered as a clinical psychotherapist and supervisor in her home country, Canada, where she worked for 16 years in private practice, and in clinics with individuals, couples, families, as well as executives, teams and key leaders in organizations. The focus of her clientele was the corporate professional. She also provided training and sessional university teaching. Her business experience spans successfully launching a business and managing 3 others while of being a senior member of the leadership team of a mid-sized cross-border private equity firm. She led the People Risk to Value Strategy through the end-to-end PE process from assessing an acquisition, to integration in the portfolio companies, and through to disposition. This work involved coaching leaders in a variety of industries at various stages of the business lifecycle. She works in an integrated way bringing together her business and clinical experience into her coaching. Kristine’s passion is to help leaders create vitality in their leadership professionally and personally. She draws on her psychology background and her operational experience in business to be solution-focused. To best achieve that, she draws from a number of psychological, coaching and assessment models, as well as business strategy. These include neuropsychology, attachment-based thriving, Gestalt, The Birkman Assessment and numerous others. Particular areas of interest are resilience, optimizing performance for leaders and teams from a systems perspective, mindset and grit, and the strategy of integrating people risk to value with commercial goals.
