Beginning in 2017, #MeToo – the historic anti-sexual assault and women's empowerment movement – has dominated public conversation about women's issues around the world, having been searched for on Google in 196 countries in the past year. As the movement continues, employers are grappling with serious and at times challenging issues around harassment and ensuring all employees feel valued and safe.

This event seeks to address some of these questions by asking:

  • How is the #MeToo movement impacting employees and management in Asia and how is each reacting
  • What can/should multi-national companies be doing to ensure that they can address issues that might arise from past harassment cases and have the sufficient processes in place to encourage reporting/proper handling of future cases

The panel will bring together experts from in-house legal and employee relations departments, outside counsel and media.
