Now that the Conservatives have gained their majority, what does this outcome mean for Brexit and beyond?

Whatever the result – hard exit, remain or yet more paralysis – the ramifications spread far beyond Perfidious Albion's shores. The world's 5th largest economy crashing out of the world's biggest trading bloc; uncertainty over trade and investment regime; questions around the future of London as a global financial and investment hub. Not to mention the impact on savings, pensions and plum postings to the City.

In this timely lunch talk, Philip Cowley, an election expert analyst, will share the key takeaways from the general election results. He will be joined by Alicia García Herrero, chief economist from Natixis, who will give her prognosis on the post-Brexit investment outlook.

  • First 25 minutes for networking
  • Light lunch will be served
