Event Details
Please join us for a closed-door briefing with Mr. Fred Lam, Chairman of the Airport Authority, on 25 June 2024 (Tuesday) with a theme of "From City Airport to Airport City".
Hong Kong is proud to position itself as an International Aviation Hub. The Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) was the third busiest airport in terms of international passenger throughput around the globe. It was also the world's busiest cargo airport for many years. To enhance this status, the Airport Authority is pressing ahead with the "Airport City" development strategy, under which the HKIA will be developed into a node of various economic activities with aviation as its core business.
During this closed-door session, Fred will explore the Airport City concept, covering topics such as core airport services, regional connectivity, retail, hospitality, and entertainment offerings.
