Hong Kong has been ranked the world's freest among 165 economies in the Economic Freedom of the World 2024 Annual Report released by the Fraser Institute. This success stems from the city's commitment to free trade, with the TID playing a crucial role in facilitating and supporting the development of trade and industry. Ultimately, these efforts aim to enhance Hong Kong's status as a leading international trade center.
In this briefing, the Director-General will share with AmCham members the latest developments in the trade sector, as well as Hong Kong's trade activities in the Asia Pacific.
