The Workplace Wellness session will feature panel discussions that cover a macro perspective on wellness, as well as individual approaches to well-being in the workplace. Experts will explore organizational strategies and initiatives aimed at promoting employee wellness, including creating a supportive work environment and implementing work-life balance policies. The panel will also delve into individual well-being, focusing on financial, physical, and mental aspects, and discussing resources and programs organizations can offer to support each dimension. Attendees can expect to gain valuable insights and actionable strategies to enhance workplace wellness and foster a thriving, healthy workforce.

Mukta Arya
Mukta is a Human Resources Professional with 26+ years of experience in multiple industries and locations in APAC. Starting her career with Essar group in Mumbai, India, after completing Masters in Management Studies, she worked in Tata TD Waterhouse Securities/Tata TDW Asset Management, before joining Ogilvy and Mather as Talent Head for Mumbai, Advertising. In 2006, she joined Societe Generale in Mumbai as Head of HR for India and has been with them for the last 18+ years. She worked in Hong Kong as Regional Head of Talent Development and Inclusion since 2010 and as Head of HR for SEA for Societe Generale in Singapore for 4 years, before being appointed as the CHRO for Societe Generale, APAC, now based in Hong Kong. She is a Certified Coach (ACC) accredited by International Coaching Federation. She is also a Global Fellow in Talent Management by Wharton University and a Global Talent Management Leader with certification in Diversity and Inclusion, MBTI, FIRO B, Experiential Learning, HR Audit, Competency Mapping and Leadership Development. She is a published author with 4 books till now- Wanton Thoughts, 3:15 PM- Musings in Hong Kong, Whimsical Times and Criss Cross- A Medley of Thoughts. She is based in Hong Kong and is fluent in English and Hindi.

Rupert Forster
Rupert is Senior Managing Director for PageGroup’s Greater China business. After graduating, Rupert spent five years in technical and commercial positions in the industrial sector. On joining Michael Page in the UK, Rupert was responsible for setting up our industrial practices, relocating to China in 2011. After moving to China, based in Beijing and Shanghai, Rupert led various businesses for the Group, focusing on delivering the right culture, local leadership depth and operational capability, in order to deliver the best possible customer experience. Under his leadership, PageGroup’s mainland China business grew rapidly and today consists of specialists with coverage across most corporate functions and industry sectors for executive to management level hiring. Services it offered include search & selection, interim/contracting solutions and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO). In July 2023, Rupert relocated to Hong Kong with his family, taking on an expanded role as the leader of Greater China. Looking to the future, Rupert and his team are also making significant investments including applying innovative technology and digital products to enhance our customer experience, as well as best practice relating to DEI and ESG to drive social impact, with a view to achieving sustained high-performance for our customers and communities.
