Grace Hui is the Head of Green and Sustainable Finance at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) with responsibility for the development of HKEX’s green and sustainable finance programme including exploring the creation of commercial propositions to facilitate sustainable financing for environmentally-aligned companies. From 2013 to April 2020, Ms. Hui was the Chief Operating Officer of HKEX’s Listing Division overseeing structured products & fixed income, primary market information, listing policies, listing enforcement and accounting affairs. Prior to that, Ms. Hui was with UBS for over 10 years in various roles in Hong Kong and in New York, including Chief of Staff and Global Chief Operating Officer of UBS Legal & Compliance Department. Ms. Hui holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from The London School of Economics and Political Science and is an INSEAD alumni. Ms. Hui is also a qualified lawyer in Hong Kong and in England & Wales.

Professor Christine Loh, SBS, JP, OBE, Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite, is Chief Development Strategist at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She was Under Secretary for the Environment in the HKSAR Government (2012-17) and a Member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council (1992-97 and 1998-2000). Loh has been active in public policy and politics since the 1980s. She founded and was the CEO of the non-profit think tank, Civic Exchange (2000-12), and helped to established several non-profit organizations in Hong Kong related to the environment, equal opportunity, arts and culture, as well as human rights.

Professor Loh is currently a board member of the Robert HN Ho Family Foundation, board member of CDP Worldwide, and an Advisor to the WYNG Master Award in photography. She is a published author of many academic and popular works. Her expertise in environmental policy is well-known, including advising the World Health Organization and International Energy Agency on issues relating to air pollution and public health. Loh is a lawyer by training, and a commodities trader by profession. She received her legal training in England, and received honorary degrees of Doctor of Law from the University of Hull and Doctor of Science from the University of Exeter.

Liang has more than a decade of institutional investing research experience. He is a long-standing member of Willis Towers Watson’s Thinking Ahead Group (since 2007), the executive to the Thinking Ahead Institute, a global not-for-profit group with over 40 members with combined responsibility for over US$12 trillion and a mission to mobilise capital for a more sustainable future. Over the past years, Liang has authored numerous publications in a wide range of areas including long-horizon investing, collective decision-making, allocation to China, private equity, extreme risks and climate change.

In addition to his Thinking Ahead Institute role, Liang has two other responsibilities within Willis Towers Watson Investments. He is a member of the private equity manager research team, focusing particularly on China, sustainability and innovation. Liang also leads the firm’s China project, a cross-functional initiate that involves portfolio management, manager research and asset research. Its goal is to help institutional investors allocate to China by structuring appropriate implementation solutions across all asset classes.

Liang grew up in Chongqing, China and currently lives in the UK. He has a PhD degree in finance and is a CFA Charterholder.

Jenny is co-head of the Office of Government Affairs for Asia Pacific, overseeing the firm’s regional public policy agenda, managing the firm’s interactions with governments in Asia Pacific and serving as a resource for information and analysis on policy issues of interest to the firm and its clients. She is a member of the Clearing House Risk Committee and the China Leadership Group.

Previously, Jenny served as chief of staff to the chairman and chief executive officer of Asia Pacific Ex-Japan from 2017 to 2018, in addition to her current role. Before that, she worked in the Office of Government Affairs for EMEA for 10 years, where she led the firm’s advocacy efforts on many of its key policy and regulatory priorities in the region. Jenny joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in the Operations Division in 2003 and was named managing director in 2017.

Jenny serves on the Asia Advisory Board of the Futures Industry Association and co-chairs the Asia Public Policy Committee, which is jointly coordinated by the Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association and the International Swaps and Derivatives Association.

Jenny earned a BA in Government and French from Georgetown University in 2003.
