Tina Tsui is Managing Director and Associate General Counsel at The Bank of New York Mellon. She is leading the APAC Markets, Clearance and Collateral Management legal team and the APAC Public Policy and Government Affairs team.

Prior to joining The Bank of New York Mellon, Tina was a Director and Senior Counsel at Deutsche Bank’s New York office covering various businesses, including fixed-income derivatives, hedge fund derivatives and financing, structured credit, longevity markets, and eventually focusing on Volcker Rule, Dodd-Frank OTC derivatives regulations and the CFTC commodity pool related issues. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Tina was practicing law in law firms in New York and Hong Kong.

Tina is admitted as an attorney in the State of New York, and a solicitor in both England & Wales and Hong Kong.

Tom Fu is a partner of Mayer Brown. He has extensive experience advising on issues arising from construction projects. Tom has been named as one of the leading individuals in China Real Estate and Construction (Foreign Firms) in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific (2020), and he is also named in the construction chapter of the Who’s Who Legal list (2014-2015) and the Chambers Asia Pacific guide (2012-2020). He has been appointed by the China Association of International Engineering Consultants (CAIEC) as a member of its committee of experts in 2019.

Tom has extensive experience handling China related disputes. He is a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators (HKIArb), and is listed on various panels of arbitrators. He has also been appointed by the China International Council for the Promotion of Multinational Corporations (CICPMC) as a committee member of its international legal affairs Committee of Experts since 2010. Tom also frequently counsels MNCs on investigation work in China.

Eric is Deputy Secretary General at HKIAC. Prior to joining the HKIAC, Eric worked for several years as a barrister-at-law in Hong Kong focusing primarily on international commercial and construction arbitrations, as well as general commercial litigation in Hong Kong, and has worked as counsel as well as tribunal secretary for several major international commercial, construction, and financial arbitrations around the world.

In addition to his work as a barrister, Eric was previously Adjunct Professor at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, lecturing in advocacy and investor-state arbitration. He has also lectured at Tsinghua University and Peking University. Eric has also published on issues of international dispute resolution and investor-state arbitration.

Eric holds a BCL from Oxford University, PCLL and JD from City University from Hong Kong, MSc E-commerce from the University of Hong Kong, as well as a BS in Business Administration and Information Systems from Babson College in the USA. He is admitted to practice law in Hong Kong.

Matthew is an international arbitration lawyer with significant experience across a wide range of sectors. He is a partner in Reed Smith and is based in the Hong Kong office as a foreign lawyer (England & Wales) in the disputes practice.

Matthew’s clients come from a number of sectors, including energy (e.g., renewables, and oil and gas), corporate and private equity, infrastructure, construction and technology. They include public and private companies, funds, high-net-worth individuals and developers.

Matthew’s international arbitration experience spans the major jurisdictions, institutions, and arbitration rules. He has worked on a number of ‘industry first’ international arbitration matters in Asia and routinely conducts written and oral advocacy.
