Event Details
In 2022, multiple pieces of climate change regulation surfaced across Europe and the United States, marking a transition from a period of soft laws, where ESG governance was shaped by guidelines, to hard laws, where ESG requirements are legally codified and often punitive. Foremost among the requirements is Scope 3 emission tracking: a framework for understanding greenhouse gas emissions across the supply chain, even those indirectly generated by a business's activities. Compliance will require that supply chain managers across all segments of consumer goods trade begin building their approach to developing new systems, processes, technology, talent and internal governance frameworks.
But what is Scope 3 emissions tracking? And how can these new supply chain competencies be built? Join us for a discussion on a practitioner's guide to Scope 3 emissions tracking.
