We are in buildings 90% of the time, and so it is critical that the work environments we design prioritize human health and wellness at all scales. In this interactive webinar session, participants will learn practical insights from leading experts on human health and well-being inside the built environment. Their panel discussion will touch on the specifics of what constitutes health-enhancing work spaces, addressing the key considerations organizations need to take into account to ensure the safety and comfort of their people, both physical and mental.

· If you are new to Zoom, here are instructions on how to download the software and join a meeting. Please familiarize yourself with the platform beforehand.

· Please log in (your registered email) at 8:15am, 15 minutes in advance of the session start time. This will allow time to troubleshoot any technical issues and start promptly at 8:30am.

Tony Armstrong is a Senior Vice President of the International WELL Building Institute™ (Asia). IWBITM is a public benefit corporation with a mission to improve human health and well-being through the built environment. IWBI administers the WELL Building Standard® (WELL), the world’s first building standard focused exclusively on human health and wellness. The WELL building certification program is an evidence-based system for measuring, certifying, and monitoring the performance of building features and other aspects of the built environments that impact the health and well-being of the people in the spaces we create.

Having played a pioneering role in the proliferation of the WELL Building Standard in Australia, Tony Armstrong is now representing the International WELL Building Institute across Asia.

Christine is an architect actively supporting best practice, sustainability, and wellness in design. As a Director at M Moser Associates, her focus is working with client and community stakeholders to encourage deep dive investigations into issues of health & wellbeing at work, leading global initiatives to design healthy, sustainable work environments that enhance people’s lives and champion environmental stewardship across organisations of all scales.

She remains actively involved in a variety of communities as an early adapter of the International WELL Building Institute™ (IBWI), a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and an Accredited Professional with a variety of green building certifications, including LEED, RESET, Fitwell and the Living Building Challenge. She has helped establish both BEAM and BREEAM in Hong Kong, two of the world’s leading sustainability assessment methods for buildings.

Her impact and professional experience have been recognised with numerous accolades from a diverse group of organisations worldwide, most recently receiving the IWBI 2019 Community Award, 2018 & 2017 IBWI Leadership Award, the 2018 Women in Sustainability Leadership Award (WSLA), and multiple AIA awards for her contribution and dedication to improving health and wellness in the built environment. Christine currently sits on the IWBI Covid-19 Task Force 2020.

She holds a Master’s degree in architecture from Yale University and a PhD in architecture and engineering from the University of Tokyo.

Cancellations must be provided in writing to: amchamevent@amcham.org.hk at least seven working days prior to in-house events.
Registrations for events held outside the AmCham HK office are non-cancellable and non-refundable. No-shows will be charged.
In the event of Typhoon Signal 8 (or above) or Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted, all events will be cancelled.
