Meraki are pioneers in driving leadership diversity, and created one of the world’s leading board development programmes for top women executives - The Women’s Directorship Programme. WDP is a joint venture with Hong Kong University Business School bringing together top female leaders from across Asia with world class business leaders including Chairman of London Stock Exchange, Mastercard, Schneider Electric, Link Re, HKEX etc. The program has graduated 300 women across 11 years, and over 60% now sit on boards around the world. 2022 was the 10th anniversary of WDP.
Nick relocated to Hong Kong in 2012 as the CEO for APAC and member of the Executive Committee at Harvey Nash plc. He joined HN in 2002, when he built and ran the executive search business as Global CEO.
Previously Nick led the European practices of Technology and Financial Services for leading executive search firms Odgers Bernstein and Harvey Nash. Before becoming an executive search professional, Nick worked in Africa for a chemicals business, after studying engineering at Sheffield University, followed by work in banking and technology with SG. Warburg/UBS.
Prior to his move to Asia, Nick sat on the board of Byte Night, a children charity in the UK, and Think London, the government body to promote business in London. He raced cars in the British GT championship and at Le Mans. He is married with two children and now sits on the board of Kellett International School as a Governor and iNED.
