In light of major supply chain disruption posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Biden Administration has recently concluded a 100-day supply chain review to "identify risks, address vulnerabilities and develop a strategy to promote resilience." The review covers 4 critical products: semiconductor manufacturing & advanced packaging; large capacity batteries; critical minerals and materials, and pharmaceuticals & active pharmaceutical ingredients.
The administration has also set up a 'supply chain trade strike force" to ramp up its efforts to address the China trade challenges.
With more emphasis of national security over market efficiency, what are the potential impact on multinational companies? Do we see more US companies reshoring their supply chains back to the homeland? As US-China strategic competition intensify in the technology space, how can business cope?
Please hear from a panel of experts representing the US government and private sector as they will unpack the 100-day supply chain review and its implications for businesses.
