Join us for the "Women in Chief" Fireside Chat. During this 3X3 discussion, the ghosts of the past, present and future from the Innovation and Technology Committee will interview our panel of Women in Chiefs. Aligning with the International Women's Day theme for 2021, our speakers will share their unique Choose to Challenge stories as well as from their perspectives of different times in life and different roles. The conversation will cover how they get to the top of their game, what is happening in their world both professionally and personally, and what do they see on the horizon for gender balance, diversity and inclusion, and opportunities for women.

Anne O’Riordan is the Group Director of Digital of Jardine Matheson Limited. She is responsible for providing oversight of and further developing the Group’s digital and innovation strategy and agenda.
Before joining the Group, Ms O’Riordan was a senior managing director in Accenture where she worked for 29 years. In this period, she worked across the US, Europe and Asia with global companies transforming their business and operating models to meet changing market and portfolio needs.
She is a member of The Women’s Foundation, the 30% Club and the board liaison with the Women of Influence Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce. She holds the role of the treasurer of the American Chamber in Hong Kong and is an independent non-executive director on the board of Jazz Pharmaceuticals – a global healthcare company founded in Palo Alto.
Ms O’Riordan has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biotechnology from Dublin City University and a Postgraduate Degree in Financial Accounting and Management Information Systems from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She also is a graduate of Women’s Directorship Programme from the University of Hong Kong and Stanford University Directorship Program.
She is married with two sons.

Cally Chan is General Manager of Microsoft Hong Kong and Macau, and the lead for the company’s overall strategy and business operations, raising the talent bar and providing leadership in customer satisfaction and business growth.
Cally is responsible for helping Microsoft to fulfill its mission to empower every person and every organization to achieve more. The key focus is enabling technology, accelerating digital transformation for customers and partners, and empowering people and societies through technology innovations.

Cally is passionate about driving digital transformation and diversity. She is the Founding Chairwoman of the first-ever IT “FACE Club” (Female, Attract, Connect, and Engage) of the Hong Kong Computer Society. She is a Standing Committee Member and the Vice-Chairwoman of the Knowledge Transfer Committee of the Council of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a Convenor of the Public Relations and Promotion Committee of the Employees Retraining Board (ERB), a Member of the HKTDC ICT Services Advisory Committee, and an Advisory Committee Member of the Department of Computer Science of City University of Hong Kong, to name a few of her external industry leadership positions.
Before joining Microsoft Hong Kong and Macau, Cally served as Managing Director and Vice President of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Group from 2010 to 2017.

Cally holds an Executive MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a BSc in Computing Studies from the University of Hong Kong.

Jennifer Parks is White & Case's Chief Operating Officer in Asia-Pacific and President of the White & Case Global Operations Center in Manila. She works with firm leadership on White & Case's strategic direction across the region. This includes practice development and client relationship strategy, financial planning and practice, legal and business personnel management and development, and overall oversight of the firm's profile in the region.

The firm's operations which Jennifer oversees are based in Beijing, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo, and she also manages the firm's association with Indonesian law firm WCA in Jakarta.

Prior to becoming White & Case's COO in Asia, Jennifer was the firm's Director of Strategic Initiatives for five years, based in New York. Her main responsibilities in this role were to work with senior management of the firm on implementation of the firm's new structure and long-term strategy. Her work included macro and micro business planning, analysis and implementation of strategic initiatives, assessment of opportunities, change management, and improvement of firm systems and global business support strategy.

Jennifer's career also includes strategy and change management roles in the financial services and consulting sectors, based in New York, London and Dallas. Jennifer currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Women of Influence Committee at AmCham Hong Kong.

Jen Flowers is currently the global head of strategy and business management for partnership development and innovation for HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management. She is an expert in design thinking helping companies think outside the box to innovative. Jen has over 15 years experience across marketing, business development, innovation and change. As co-chair of the TEDx TinHau committee, Jen oversees all facets of the planning and running of multiple non-profit TEDx conferences and events in her free time. Jen has a masters degree in Chinese Literature, speaks Mandarin and spent over 10 years living across Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Jen currently serves as the Innovation & Technology Committee Co-Chair at AmCham Hong Kong.

Based in Hong Kong, Ming Lai Cheung works as Manager for Illicit Trade Prevention – Asia at Philip Morris International. Among her many responsibilities, she is tasked to devise and execute strategies against illicit trade in selected markets in Asia Pacific which include engaging relevant stakeholders in business and the wider community to bring about legislative and regulatory changes in governments and law enforcement. She has a research interest in terrorism, organized crimes, and human trafficking.

Ming Lai established and chairs the Shadow Economy Sub-Committee (SESC) within the Trade and Investment Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (AmCham), leading a team of experts in three areas: Financial Crimes and Anti-Money Laundering, Trade Technology, and Intellectual Property Rights Protection and Enforcement to address illicit trade issues in the region.

Ming Lai volunteers as a Charities Reporter for the American Women’s Association (AWA) magazine AWAre and researches, interviews and writes about community projects in Hong Kong. Further, she serves as a Director and Company Secretary for C3 Church Hong Kong providing strategic direction and governance, and overseeing its external relations and charity programs.

Ming Lai was formerly a Director of Government Relations and Public Affairs at AmCham. She is a qualified lawyer of the New South Wales Supreme Court, Australia. She holds a Master of International Law from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Government & Public Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Carolyn DeRobertis currently works in Brand Strategic Marketing at PwC Hong Kong. She works to elevate brands and is experienced in digital transformation campaigns, creative storytelling, and corporate communications. Carolyn has worked from big agency firms in Boston for consumer brands to B2B technology marketing in China. Her expertise in marketing has led her to strive for more innovative thinking to increase people engagement with holistic campaigns. Carolyn graduated from Boston College with a double major in Marketing and Management/Leadership. She currently serves as Communications Chair for the AmCham Women of Influence Committee, plays an active Steering Committee role in the Innovation & Technology Committee, and is a member of TEDxTinHauWomen.
