Professor Wilton CW Chau has over 2 6 -year extensive experience in venture capital and angel investment. He is the Chairman of QLeap Venture Fund, a seed venture capital fund mainly investing in Asian early-stage technology ventures and has successfully grown two pre-revenue stage companies to become the market leaders in China. Her major roles are to provide consultation service to entrepreneurs, set up a fund and invest in startup ventures and assist foreign companies to start up business in Hong Kong. Her firm has already helped several SMEs from Hong Kong and mainland China to achieve the results. Prior to this, Ms. Li had been employed as Senior Manager in various departments of the SGS Hong Kong Limited for about 10 years. SGS is the world largest listed global testing company. Her portfolio covered investment and CAPEX review, management reporting, acquisition projects and QA programs. She had extensive experience in running food, life science and environmental business units and key account department in the testing, inspection and certification industry. Before, she also worked in the C ategory Management team of Dairy Farm Co Ltd, Hong Kong. Ms Li is a graduate of CUHK MBA Programs. Sachin Tipnis is the Executive Director of the MBA programmes at the University of Hong Kong is responsible for MBA programme management including programme operations, external and internal communication, staff development and budget, alumni affairs, admissions and international marketing to position the Faculty as the finest in Asia, attract the best students, connect to corporate world and enhance the overall brand image of the business school. He manages both the full-time and part-time programmes.   He is an MBA alumnus of University of Hong Kong (HKU) and has done his Masters in advertising and communications management from NMIMS (one of the premier management schools in India). He did an Internship with BNP Paribas in Equity Sales during his studies, and then worked for the Vice-President of Research at HKUST before starting his current role as a Director of Local Data Security. Local Data Security is a software company that is working to protect the public content of websites by stopping malicious web-scraping and data harvesting; and also providing protection against advertising fraud on the web.

Sachin started his career in advertising and worked for one of the WPP group company and has rich experience in brand management, marketing communications and strategy development across sectors from food, publications and clothing to FMCG’s, automotive industry etc. . Michael Wood was a Detective in London's Metropolitan Police before doing an MBA at HKUST. He did an Internship with BNP Paribas in Equity Sales during his studies, and then worked for the Vice-President of Research at HKUST before starting his current role as a Director of Local Data Security. Local Data Security is a software company that is working to protect the public content of websites by stopping malicious web-scraping and data harvesting; and also providing protection against advertising fraud on the web.

He is the Chairman of QLeap Venture Fund, a seed venture capital fund mainly investing in Asian early-stage technology ventures and has successfully grown two pre-revenue stage companies to become the market leaders in China. Over the last 12 years, he has developed a comprehensive technology commercialization network and a funding network for SMEs covering China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. Miranda Li is currently the director of ADM Consulting Services Limited providing management consultancy and fundraising services to a wide scope of start up companies in m edical, biotechnology, IT, engineering, and sustainability sectors. Her major roles are to provide consultation service to entrepreneurs, set up a fund and invest in startup ventures and assist foreign companies to start up business in Hong Kong. Her firm has already helped several SMEs from Hong Kong and mainland China to achieve the results. Prior to this, Ms. Li had been employed as Senior Manager in various departments of the SGS Hong Kong Limited for about 10 years. SGS is the world largest listed global testing company. Her portfolio covered investment and CAPEX review, management reporting, acquisition projects and QA programs. She had extensive experience in running food, life science and environmental business units and key account department in the testing, inspection and certification industry. Before, she also worked in the C ategory Management team of Dairy Farm Co Ltd, Hong Kong. Ms Li is a graduate of CUHK MBA Programs.
