Barbara Meynert has enjoyed an international career in merchant banking, commercial and regulatory institutions, and board directorships in the corporate and non-profit sectors. Barbara is a long-term Hong Kong resident who is currently based in Bangkok. She is a director of the Fung Global Institute, a director of the Thailand-Hong Kong Business Council, and Chair of the Regional Connectivity Task Force of UN ESCAP Business Advisory Council. It is in the latter capacity that she will deliver her talk today.
Raghu Narain brings over 17 years of experience in banking, corporate and development finance and economic policy advisory. An experienced international investment banker, Raghu has undertaken over 100 transactions by financing and advising US$50+ billion in deals for global companies. In addition to banking, Raghu has also worked in the field of development finance at the Harvard Institute for International Development where he undertook Project Appraisal and MSME financing activities. In that role, Raghu has advised development agencies, governments and private institutions. Raghu completed his Masters degree from Harvard University. Raghu is currently an Associate Member of the UN EBAC taskforce and he will be speaking today in this capacity.
