Julie Broussard

UNWomen China

Julie Broussard is the Country Programme Manager for the UN Women China Office. She has lived and worked in China for more than 15 years and speaks fluent Chinese. Ms. Broussard is the Chair of the UN Task Force on China’s first national domestic violence law, currently on the NPC’s legislative agenda. Furthermore, she is the Chair for the UN Theme Group on Gender, a forum which advocates gender equality in the work of the UN System and wider donor community, and also includes the administration of the China Gender Fund.  At UN Women China, Ms. Broussard manages a great variety of programs in the areas of gender & corporate social responsibility, gender dimensions of climate change and natural disasters, gender-based violence, mitigating the effects of HIV/AIDS on women, gender-responsive governance, women’s economic participation and women’s leadership. Through the UN, she has worked closely with a variety of government institutions , including with several ministries as well as with the All China Women's Federation in holding advocacy events and high-level visits. Before coming to UN Women, she spent time working for UNFPA, UNESCO and the World Bank.  Ms. Broussard received her MPA from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs from Indiana University and her EdD from the Harvard Graduate School of Education . Julie resides in Beijing with her husband and her two young daughters.
 

Reid Marsh is Barclay's Co-Head of Banking for Asia pacific, based in Hong Kong.  He was appointed to this position in July 2014.  His remit spans Barclays’ banking activities across Australia, New Zealand, Greater China, India, Japan, South East Asia and South Korea. He also serves as Executive Chairman of the Global Industrials Group.  Global Industrials includes clients in the aerospace and defence, automotive, metals and mining, paper and packaging and transportation sectors. Reit sits on Barclays’ Asia Pacific Executive Committee and Banking Executive Committee, as well as the Senior Leadership Group for the Investment Banking business. Before joining Barclays in 2010, Reid was Co-Head of Citigroup’s Global Automotive franchise which, during his tenture, completed over US$150 billion of M&A transactions and over US$100 billion of capital markets financings for many of the industry’s leading OEMs and suppliers globally.  Prior to joining Citigroup (Salomon Smith Barney) in 1995, Reid worked at Kidder, Peabody in New York, where he began his career. Reid holds an AB degree from Princeton University and a MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
 

Richard   Nicoll   has been at the heart of Saatchi & Saatchi’s growth in Shopper Marketing for over 10 years, originally as a founding director of Saatchi X London, where he led the team that pioneered Shopper Marketing solutions for brands, retailers and retail destinations. In 2009 Richard moved to the Middle East where as Managing Director of Saatchi X Dubai he established one of the first shopper marketing agencies in the MENA region building a strong roster of FMCG and electronics clients including P&G, Kraft, Arla foods, Nescafe, LG Electronics and Canon. He returned to London in 2012 to lead all P&G business across EMEA region and also to lead the agency's work on Pampers globally. In 2014, Richard took up the assignment of Chief Shopper Marketing Officer and Regional Business Leader in Greater China, the world’s fastest growing and diverse retail market, where he is partnering the agency’s roster of international clients on developing 'Shopper' and 'Go to Market' strategies across Asia.   Richard has been immersed in design for retail for over 20 years, with experience firmly rooted in design and marketing. Before joining Saatchi & Saatchi , he led a team of designers, architects and planners, developing destination branding, navigation and communication solutions for the retail and property sectors.

Lisa Moore joined The Women’s Foundation in 2011. As Research and Advocacy Manager, she manages multiple collaborative research projects and contributes to all aspects of an active events calendar that spotlight gender issues in the Hong Kong community and generate media attention. She also heads up the Leading Women Speaker Series in partnership with Bloomberg. Previously, Lisa was a Teaching & Research Fellow at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Lisa received her M.A. from Johns Hopkins University and Nanjing University.
